Though prominent veins sprawl across her bony fingers, adorned with jewel-like droplets, she still longs to play with 1928 style hands. She would sashay across those white and black bars, balancing from note to note through the chorus. It is her. All of her, caressing the quiet multitude with her song, and yet all are merely memories dying slowly against the rapture of weighty piano keys. Her hollow husband dying, and the barren room echoing, and the detached nurse living a breath away are consumed by the songs in her bloodstream. the rasp of words in my throat, taste of words on my tongue, violent shiver in my bones hand traacing my ear, sensuous, jaw, a crisp wind, cheek, cold lips… up my spine, tornado in my throat, aching open and exposed . . . this is me.

I blink to gaze at the austere dancers on the ballroom floor, and indeed, there are many elegant dancers, spinning as colorful flowers would, when brushed by the wind. There is a veritable multitude of marigolds and buttercups, several daisies, a few brilliant sunflowers in red and orange hues, and burgundy and black roses sashaying across the checkered floor. The black winds in pressed suits twist amongst them, and all the patterns ripple out, then in, as the winds step in time to the music, and all the flowers twirl into all the places the winds empty. Where do so many flowers come from? To fill the gaping field of the ballroom so well?

I want to be honest about myself, like the honesty of a sharp fresh onion making my eyes tear at the chemical reaction from its skin. Often though, it's terribly hard to peel away the stereotypes and presuppositions and assumptions, acting as tenuous barriers between the external thoughts of hope and love, to the tender heart and flesh of our onion souls, which I would assert are both sharp - from our awareness of ourselves (if only of ourselves) - and raw - from the fresh and intricate revelations in every layer of these structures, like ourselves, named "human".

Quite a lot of new things have happened recently. I've graduated High School...back in 2013.. hehe. Gotten through part of my first year of college; I had to leave right at the beginning of spring term 2014, though, because I had to have back surgery. again. Waaaay back in June 2010, I had back surgery to put rods, screws, and wires in my back to correct the curve of my spine. I've have scoliosis, which is an unnatural curvature of the spine. My curve, at the time of the 1st surgery, was 70 degrees. That dropped to about 35 post-op. Everything was going fine until just before spring break. The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey

Well I just saw the Hobbit for the second time, and I have to say I'm still as impressed as when I watched it the first time on Dec 21st. Peter Jackson has really done an excellent job incorporating everything from The Hobbit by J.R.R.
